PARCC HOW DO I VIEW AND NAVIGATE THROUGH THE PRACTICE TESTS?

Go to:   You can also go to the NPMS home page and click on PARCC Practice for kids.

If you are entering from the NPMS webpage, you will see this screen. Click on, Practice tests, under Test Preparation.

Choose: English Language Arts Literacy Practice Tests

Select the grade level of the test you wish to view.

You will see several options for viewing the test.

Choose: Standard TestNav Version

Enter your name and begin the test.

Click: Start Session

Choose your answer. You can scroll up and down to view the entire passage.

Click on the arrow to go to the next question.

Accessibility features are located in the upper right corner of the screen. You can choose the available options. (Be aware, these options may change.)

To highlight, right click on the mouse, roll over the text and choose your color.

Click on the back arrow to return to the last question.

Click on review to see questions that need to be completed. Ask yourself: Did I skip any answers? Do I need to go back?

To view any specific questions, click on: View

Some answers require that you type your response.

Don’t forget that you can scroll up and down to view the entire passage.

When you have completed the test go back and review to see if you forgot to answer any questions, or to re-think your answers.

Click submit final answers if you are finished.
