Gods? no! Indifferent about the existence of a god. Anyone can attain nirvana through self observation and asceticism. Four Noble Truths: “Life means suffering, The origin of suffering is attachment, the cessation of suffering is attainable, the path to the cessation of suffering.” Eightfold path: control your thoughts, resist evil, free your mind of evil, work for the good of others, respect life, know the truth, say nothing to hurt others, practice meditation.

Buddhist women and more In early China, women, like men, were considered to have souls. Buddhist wives were valued amongst the society. Buddha's his teachings and oral traditions of faith are called Tripitaka andSutras. Prayer or puja are initiated with the evoking of a Sangha (Buddhist assemblies).

Major contacts with other religions until 600 CE it was to created to stand against the continuous, Hinduist cycle of reincarnation if one acheived Nirvana, the soul was set free from the tedious cycle of rebirth.
