Cell Phones In School Ryan Hoins Period 3

Opinion  Cell phones provide a way for students to interact with one another, we need to allow cell phones in school, even during class when the teacher is not lecturing, socializing is an important part of life.

Thesis 1  Cell phones are a useful tool for emergencies that may come up during class

Thesis 2  Cell phones can be used to let a family member or friend know where you are at, just in case you may have to meet them somewhere as soon as that class ends.

Thesis 3  Cell phones can actually be educational, they prepare students for real life situations, in the real world a cell phone is nearly always required for contacting employees, or in many cases the employer.

Rebuttal  Although cell phones can be distracting they also can be educational and useful to students of any age, especially in emergency situations. Therefore cell phones should be allowed in school.

Conclusion  Cell phones are a useful tool and are needed in many situations, we need to allow cell phones in our schools and in our classrooms they will make a major impact on our socialized world that we live in today.
