unions Groups of workers who come together to make work better Example: Unions often help workers get better health care or wages

strikes Times when workers refuse to work until owners improve job conditions Example: Strikes make points about unfair conditions.

citizen A person who agrees to respect the rules of a country and is granted the rights from that country Example: Voting is a right of any adult citizen in a democratic country.

boycotts Times when people refuse to buy products, to show they are upset about prices or poor treatment. Example: Our boycotts made the company change its policies.
