The Geography Of the Northeast By William Lewental The Northeast has many amazing geographical features. Including the Appalachian Mts., the coastal plains. There is also many rivers.

The Northeast has varied climate. It’s climate supports two types of trees: needleleaf trees and broadleaf trees. The climate also makes the leaves turn color. There is a pigment called chlorophyll that controls leave's colors. When the weather turns cold, the leaves stop making green pigment.

The history of some culture is the past times. The history of the Northeast starts with the Native Americans. Then it goes into the American Revolution. During the American Revolution Paul Revere supposedly warned the Minutemen that “the British are coming” but actually he was captured before he could. Later came the Industrial Revolution with steam power and replaceable parts. Finally the immigrants of Ellis Island. Did you know that more than 17 million immigrants came through Ellis Island ? Well I guess you know about the culture and history of the Northeast.

Economy of the Northeast. The industrial revolution helped the economy. Goods were being made faster. There were also more jobs at that time.
