Craft Fair Sales The students at the JH Williams School Craft Fair are selling necklaces, bracelets, and rings. Harry counted the necklaces and found that there were 6 short of 5 dozen. The students had 30 more rings than necklaces and a dozen fewer bracelets than rings. When packed in boxes holding 6 items per box, how many boxes of each item did they have?

Answer Necklaces: 9 boxes of necklaces Rings: 14 boxes of rings Bracelets: 12 boxes of bracelets ItemTotal Number Number of Boxes Necklaces 5) – 6 60 – 6 = ÷ 6 = 9 Rings = 8484 ÷ 6 = 14 Bracelets84 – 12 = 7272 ÷ 6 = 12
