During 35 years, UoM has evolved into an institution with:  19 faculties  3 independent study programs  3 research institutes At the undergraduate level the University of Montenegro students are enrolled at 77 study programs:  61 academic  16 applied 2

University of Montenegro Classes are organizred in 10 cities  Podgorica, 32 study programs (26 academic and 6 applied ),  Niksic 18 study programs (15 academic and 3 applied),  Cetinje 17 academic programs of study,  Kotor 6 study programs (3 academic and 3 applied),  Bijelo Polje 3 study programs (2 applied, 1 academic)  Berane 3 study programs (2 applied, 1 academic),  Budva 2 academic study programs  Pljevlja 1 academic study program,  Herceg Novi 1 applied study program,  Bar 1 applied study program. 3

University of Montenegro The University has a total of 1170 employees + visiting professors: 372 with academic and scientific titles, 286 associates, 106 professional staff, 406 technical staff and administration. In 2009/10, total number of students were ,925 (82,7%) of undergraduate studies, 3243 (15,8%) in graduate school, and 1,5% a doctoral candidate The average ratio of student / teacher 33:1 4

Center of Information System UoM Center of Information System UoM (CIS) is separate unit which plans, builds, develops and maintains whole Montenegro Research and Education Network (MREN) infrastructure and services MREN collects almost all academic networks and services in Montenegro MREN become Autonomous System and Internet provider for academic institutions (2006). MREN has connection to the GEANT and commercial ICT provider MREN/UoM is appointed to be a technical administrator of national ccTLD domain.me

MREN has two WAN (BGP) connections:  GEANT link – 68 Mbps  2 backup commercial links to local ISP - 10 Mbps

11 Completed projects on UoM eLTF (eLEARNING TASK FORCE), 2004 – 2005, WUS Austria:  Colaboration between academic community and third parties in Serbia and Montenegro,  Write a set of recommendations to be adopted by all its members (providing safe environment for further investments in communication infrastructure, sophisticated equipment, learning management systems, education and content,..) eLP (eLEARNING PROJECT), 2005 – 2007, WUS Austria.  Overall aim was to support various developments at the universities which will lead to better access and more cost-effective delivery of education services while using available education technology.
