  What do you do all day?

THE PRESIDENT FILLS SEVERAL DIFFERENT ROLES WHILE IN OFFICE

ROLE #1 CHIEF EXECUTIVE/ADMINISTRATOR The President directs an administration that employs over 2 million people.

THE AMERICAN PEOPLE HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED OF YOUR BREAKING OF CIA PROTOCOL. I WILL PROPOSE LEGISLATION TO CHANGE THE WAY THE CIA DOES BUSINESS. AS AN ELITE COVERT OPERATIVE I APOLOGIZE FOR MY RECKLESS BEHAVIOR.

ROLE #2 CHIEF DIPLOMAT The President has the power to make treaties with other nations.

I’LL PROVIDE YOU WITH 50 TONS OF TEA! IN RETURN, THE UNITED STATES WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH 30 FIGHTER PLANES!

Role #3 COMMANDER IN CHIEF The 1.4 million men and women of the armed forces are under the control of the President.

The country needs you to supply food and supplies to the people of Canada. We will serve our country with pride Mr. President!

Role #4 Chief Legislator The President has the power to recommend legislation to Congress.

I propose spending $250 million on improving our nations roads!

ROLE #5 CHIEF OF STATE The President is also the ceremonial head of government and the symbol of all the people of the nation.

This wreath is a memorial to those who have lost their lives in defense of this country.

Role #6 JUDICIAL POWERS The President can grant pardons to individuals convicted of a crime.

You have demonstrated you are a changed person. I will remove the conviction from your criminal record. Thanks Mr. President. I will never steal a kids lunch money ever again.

Role #7 HEAD OF THE PARTY The President is the leader of the political party in power. This job, however, is not listed in the Constitution. It developed through custom.

HOW CAN WE GET THOSE REPUBLICANS OFF MY BACK? We have to convince America that DEMOCRATS can do a better job!
