Naming and Telling Parts of Sentences Naming Part - Tells who or what the sentence is about. Telling Part - Tells what someone or something is doing. Let’s try: The chameleon ate a fly.

Let’s Practice: Can you find the naming and telling parts of each sentence? A chameleon hid in my closet. I like chameleons. The chameleon’s tongue is longer than its body. The green chameleon moved its eyes sideways. Katelyn spotted a handsome prince. The rainbow fish was sparkling in the water. They were excited. Nico could hardly wait to see the movie.
