“Citizens Serving Communities” DDR Program Mission DDR Program Mission Civil Air Patrol DDR program assists regions, wings, groups, and squadrons to instill an aggressive, positive, drug-free attitude in CAP members, AF families, DoD civilians and school-age children through a comprehensive program.

“Citizens Serving Communities” DDR Program Structure  Program Elements: - Education and Training - School Enrichment Program - Community Outreach  Governed by CAPR 51-1  Funded by Air Force SG : $420K/$307.6 (73.2%, field) - 30 mile radius & DDR Nexus

“Citizens Serving Communities” Education and Training  Increases knowledge and awareness of drug abuse/use  Provide substance abuse information and classes  Support eligible units with training materials  Biennial Regional Conferences  Portable displays to share the message

“Citizens Serving Communities” School Enrichment Program School Enrichment Program  Focuses on drug-free life style while developing students’ potential  Fills the void after elementary school (DARE)  Starts in 1 st grade and can continue thru 12 th grade  Conducted during or after school  Allows CAP participation in both school and local (host) squadrons
