History Lincoln University is a public institution that was founded in It has an urban setting and the campus size is 157 acres. It utilizes a semester-based academic calendar. Its in-state tuition and fees are $6,725 ( ); out-of-state tuition and fees are $12,725 ( ).

Core Mission The core mission is to provide excellent educational opportunities for a diverse student population in the context of an open enrollment institution to give opportunity to rising stars like you. About 3,388 students attend Lincoln university which is 2,893 more than the average for all Colleges and Universities.

Lincoln University is consist of seven colleges College of Agricultural and Natural Sciences College of Arts and Letters College of Behavioral and Technological Sciences College of Professional Studies Division of Continuing Education and Extended Studies Office of Graduate Studies Office of Sponsored Research and Grants.

Programs offered

HOW TO ATTRACT PROSPECTIVE STUDENT Recruiting students for an academic program involves attracting the attention of students, educating them on program offerings and removing obstacles to program enrollment. Successful student recruitment requires organization, planning and effective communication skills.

Using Social Network The advent of technology has made the traditional way of attracting prospective student obsolete or irrelevant. Relying on school websites, brochures and s and field trips are not enough to yield the expected result.

Facebook/ Twitter Contest: Lincoln University can offer bookstore gift certificates to fresher's who replaced their Facebook/twitter profile photos with the university logo.

Student Services Effective recruitment strategies include being visible to students and creating an environment that fosters dialogue and the exchange of information. Lincoln University is an educational heaven where students learn and grow outside the classroom. The university provides Career and Counseling aid that serves as an advising tool in guiding students to their career path. Student support services provides student with free after school tutoring.

Stronger Student Support: Introducing referral programs such as rewarding students who spreading the word about Lincoln University to increase enrollment. Keeping students involved in their education is one of the best ways to ensure that they are successful in school and remain enrolled. Award points based on the completion of specific actions. The more they participate, the more they earn. Students can become your greatest marketing team when you reward them for referring their friends to your program

Sports sports do offer a unique advantage when choosing a college. The important part to admissions boards is the time commitment and goal-achieving skills developed in these extracurricular activities. And Lincoln university is no stranger to sports activities

Businesses Partnership At the graduate level, Lincoln University can partner with businesses and industries to bring in new students for further education. More professional programs should be develop to meet the needs of these working class

Engaging families and incoming students at an early start Parental involvement in the student education is very important, monthly parent meetings should be held at the middle and high schools and a meeting at the Lincoln University campus, where the importance of higher education should be the subject for discussion. In addition, the parents should be exposed on the availability of scholarships and Financial Aid and how the can access it.
