August 2011 Ms. Kilbourn

 What can school loop do for me?

You all know you can check your grades on school Loop, get your homework assignments and get s from teachers and friends. But did you know that school Loop is meant to support YOUR success in school too? How? By giving you a way to stay keep track of your assignments and to organize your time.

Most common excuse for not completing projects or assignments? I forgot! Most common reason students forget? I didn’t write it down!! This is where School Loop comes in……………..

SchoolLoop is accessible around the clock on weekends, holidays and even on your birthday! You can check information your teachers leave for you. You can a classmate and ask a question or work together on a project. You can share your individual work on a group project or make sure the group has your work when you are home sick!

Because it will make you into a superhero capable of flying at supersonic speeds, able to battle alien invaders, stop out of control meteors from slamming into the earth and rock stars and cyber-tycoons will name songs and games after you! Okay, so I exaggerated just a teensy weensy bit. You won’t need superhuman powers to get and keep grades you’re proud of! You can complete homework and assignments on-time, your projects can be on-time, your parents will not be angry and threaten to send you to Mars WITHOUT YOUR PHONE!

You have more time to do other stuff besides school work. You have time to really show what you know because you’ve planned ahead to have time to study. School is less of a pain because you aren’t in trouble all the time or staying up all night to finish stuff you forgot to do.

Oh, just a reminder. Remember that letter you and your parents read and signed about your promising to use the schools computers according to the rules and regulations of Bossier Parish? All those do’s and don’t apply to School Loop too. If you do not remember them ask your Study Skills teacher for a copy.
