October Writer’s Notebook Prompts

Life’s Recipe  What are the “ingredients” of life? Think of the most important things that life is made up of, and write the recipe for living a good life.

My Unique Superhero  If you could create your own superhero, what would he or she be like? Label your page A-Z, then try to fill in as many letters with words that begin with that letter. Sketch and color your Unique Superhero, and give him or her a unique name.

Tonight’s work…  Complete your Unique Superhero at home.

Achoo!  What’s the worst thing about being sick? Think about a time when you weren’t feeling well. Tell the story of what happened, and what was so awful about it!

For the Love of the Game  Watch this clip. What would you say to Mitchell? What would you say to Jonathan Montanas? To the coach?
