Introduction Your Mission: You have been hired by the Environmental Protection Agency to head up their “Save the World” Campaign. Good luck our future is in your hands!

Task You will gather information, by visiting various websites on the prevention of pollution on the land, air, and water. Then you will create a Super Hero Brochure sharing how to save our planet from pollution. The brochure will have three sections: 1. Each section will include the type of pollution 2. Each section will have a pollution Superhero mascot 3. Each section will have at least five ways of prevention covered in paragraph form Introduction | Task | Process | Evaluation | Conclusion | Credits | Teacher Page

Process Students will need to form groups of three to complete the remaining activities. First you need to decide who will take on each role of research on pollution: 1. Land 2. Air 3. Water Once you have picked your role, you will each then need to navigate through the slides to come which will give you links and information about each type of pollution. Each person in the group will need to fill out their own pollution information form on the type of pollution they are researching. Introduction | Task | Process | Evaluation | Conclusion | Credits | Teacher Page

Process Continued The pollution information form should be used to explore each of the five websites you visit, meaning you will use one block for the first website, the second block for the second website, and so on. Each member will share with their group their information and discuss their question on the type of pollution they researched. Group members will help in creating the web for each type of pollution researched by their members. After you have completed the lesson and you have each filled up the five blocks on your pollution information form you will then make one brochure as a group. Each member will be responsible for providing the superhero mascot and at least 5 ways that your pollution can be prevented in paragraph form. The brochure needs to be neat and attractive to the eye, remember you are helping save the world, so you want your brochure to catch people’s eye so they will read it and join in on your efforts to save the world from pollution. YOUR MISSION HAS NOW BEGUN!!!
