Introduction Portland cement was developed in the nineteenth century. It has become one of the most important building materials. It has complex chemical compositions, but the main cementing compound is calcium silicate hydrate. Ordinary Portland cement can be modified for high early strength, for sulfate resistance, for low heat production, or for use in masonry.

Introduction For architectural use, it can be formed white, black, or in various colors. High-alumina cement and magnesium-oxy-chloride cement are different from Portland cement in chemical compositions.
