Anti-Lock Braking System ABS means a Portion of a Service Brake System that Automatically Controls the Degree of Rotational Wheel Slip during Braking.
Definition: anti-lock braking system (ABS): is a safety system that allows the wheels on a motor vehicle to continue interacting tractively with the road.
The Braking System  The energy used to accelerate or move a vehicle from rest to a certain speed is called “Kinetic” (moving) energy.  To slow the vehicle.

Magnetorheological Fluids o sometimes referred to as ferrofluids o often made by mixing ferromagnetic particles (iron, cobalt, etc) into a carrier fluid such as silicone oil or even water.

Magnetorheological Fluids –the ferromagnetic particles are forced into an aligned arrangement when the fluid is placed in a magnetic field

Magnetorheological Fluids –The alignment of the particles in the fluid will also cause the viscosity of the fluid to increase, making the fluid seem “thicker.”

 Braking is considered to be one of the most important aspects in driving.  ABS is the most advance breaking system available at present.  ABS helps the driver stop quicker under wet or slippery conditions.  Allows the driver to brake and steer at the same time.  A very useful safety feature of car during emergency braking.

A : Wheel Speed Sensors B : ECU C : Pressure Release Valves D : Brake Line to Caliper

 High cost  Complicated mechanisms  Heavy system

 Simple design.  Less no. of components.  More sensitive
