PSSA Value-Added Results Come to the first PTG Meeting on October 10 th to participate in developing our School Improvement Plan!

Two Exciting Initiatives 1.Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Grant 2.English for Adults

Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Grant  The Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) has selected the schools to participate in the highly competitive Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP) for the School Year - only 176 schools throughout the Commonwealth have been selected for participation. Benjamin Rush Elementary School has been awarded the grant.

Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Grant  Funding for the FFVP school year began July 1, PDE determines the grant amount each school will receive using an enrollment-based formula. Each school is funded at approximately $64 per student. This will provide students and staff with the opportunity to sample fruits and vegetables not commonly available to such families.
