Two Exciting Initiatives 1.Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Grant 2.English for Adults

Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Grant  The Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) has selected the schools to participate in the highly competitive Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP) for the School Year - only 176 schools throughout the Commonwealth have been selected for participation. Benjamin Rush Elementary School has been awarded the grant.

Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Grant  Funding for the FFVP school year began July 1, PDE determines the grant amount each school will receive using an enrollment-based formula. Each school is funded at approximately $64 per student. This will provide students and staff with the opportunity to sample fruits and vegetables not commonly available to such families.

Dismissal Procedures 3:20Shuttle Buses/Vans are called to Atrium 3:30Walkers/Car Riders and BASE are dismissed 3:40Buses 42, 68 and 37 are dismissed as they arrive * Please help us by not blocking the front doors!
