Georgia’s Governor Sonny Perdue was born December 20, He graduated from college as a veterinarian and then went into the U.S. Air Force. Before becoming a governor, Perdue was a Georgia state Senator. He has worked on balancing Georgia’s budget and bringing new jobs to the state. Governor Perdue is a father of four and grandfather of eleven. He was elected as governor in Sonny Perdue Governor of Georgia (January 2003-present)
