ACTIVITY 1 What is a Charity?

TYPES OF CHARITIES 1.Conservation & welfare of animals. 2.Preservation, appreciation & sustainable development of environment. 3.Treatment, research & public awareness of health. 4.Institutions & financial support for education. 5.Preservation & patronage of arts/culture. 6.International development, disaster & humanitarian relief, human rights & child sponsorship through NGOs.

ACTIVITY 2 For each charity, try to identify its primary charity type.
