Who is Thespis? 10. Thespis was the very first actor who stepped out of the chorus in greek theatre and is known as the very first actor. This is why theatre students are called thespians and why our honor society is called the Thespian society. The word fro “drama” comes from the Greek language. What is it translated into English? 11.
