Director of nursing services-reports to Medical Director Responsible for the provision of the optimum standard nursing services and activities in the hospital. Delegate responsibility and authority to appropriate nursing staff. Ensure effective communication within the nursing service and with other departments. Manages and directs the activities of the nursing services department to carry out the objectives of the organization in providing quality health care to patients and participating in community and governmental health programs. Represents nursing in policy development and decision making within the organization.

Nursing supervisor-reports to director of the nursing or its assistant Under the direction of the director of the nursing or its assistant, directs nursing unit and activities with defined hospital polices and objective. Provide leadership, guidance and teaching to nursing staff in accordance with the hospital and nursing department rules, policies and procedures. Ensure that nursing care is in accordance with agreed standards and safe nursing practice.

Staff nurse-Reports to Head nurse/Charge nurse Directly reports to senior nurse in organization regarding all nursing issues, procedures and nursing quality assurance protocol. The staff nurse must work closely in supporting the multidisciplinary team approach and be fully conversant of all nursing and hospital polices and procedures. Provide optimal nursing care through a planned multidisciplinary and transcultural approach aimed at the mission of the hospital and maintaining the culture, values and practices of Saudi Arabia

Incident report The purpose of this report is to help establish the root cause(s) of incidents. Information collected from these forms will be useful in preventing incidents from occurring or recurring in the future.

Definitions Accident: is any event resulting in unintended harm to works or damage to property (occupational injury, occupational illness, incident or fatality). Construction site incident: is any incident that a location or site where construction type work is being conducted either by university employees or employees contracted by the university.

Definitions Days lost: identifies incidents that may be covered by the hospital workers compensation board. Incident report: is the form distributed by the department of health, safety and environment to obtain information about an individual incident. Injury: includes any disease or impairment of the physical or mental condition of a person.
