Degree & Licensure Requirements Three offices: SAAO-Student Academic Affairs Office SCE-School & Community Experiences CoTE (the Council)-Council on Teacher Education

Degree Requirements DARS & Program Checklist notes: Must take MATH 103 and SPED 117 before Spring 2016 Ideally, will also complete CI 415 and KIN 268 before Spring 2016 EDUC 101: can sub any freshmen orientation course (GS 101, LAS 101, etc.)

Licensure Requirements Licensure: K-9 self-contained C- rule: no grade below a C can be used for licensure or endorsements Licensure exams: Content test: before student teaching APT: before licensure (graduation) edTPA MUST FINISH BY SEPTEMBER 1, 2017

Endorsements ESL & Bilingual Specific course sequences 100 clock hours Transitional Bilingual/ESL (K-12 bilingual, K-5 ESL) Languages 24 credit hours (no proficiency; AP okay) Language content tests Additional languages can be added with content tests

Fall Schedule Everybody takes: CI 405, CI 430, CI 450, ART 202, and MUS 241 Cohorted-register for class section that corresponds to your cohort Have room for two additional classes
