Rocky I Bridge Installation Park Butte Trail June 2005
The Plan The Park Butte Trail has over 8000 visitors of all ages from June through September. Project Objectives: 1. Provide a safe bridge over Rocky Creek during the peak summer season. 2. Bridge to be removed for the off-season to avoid heavy snow pack, uncertain stream flows, and flood events. 3. Bridge component weights to be within the capability of a type 3 helicopter (Hughes 500), approx lbs. 4. Annual bridge flight time, assembly, disassembly and storage can be accomplished in two days or less.
