T HE H OATZIN IS CLASSIFIED AS A BIRD BECAUSE : has wings like a bird. has eggs has feathers lives in trees has lungs is warm blooded

H OATZIN IS A BIRD BECAUSE : lives in trees has beaks Is different from a bird because: Is a vegetarian eats leaves does not like to fly

H OATZIN A DAPTATION : Babies have claws to climb trees to get away from predators. Lives in Amazon swamps where predators cant find them. Mammals cant fly and although the hoatzin can fly it is very noisy, but the mammals cant get them.
