Procedimientos de Nuestra Clase (Classroom Procedures)

Your textbook Your notebook Your assignment book Completed homework/projects Pens & pencils What NOT to Bring to Class Cell Phones iPod’s/MP3 Players Personal Video Game Systems

Come to class ready to learn Enter quietly and sit in your assigned seat Copy the ‘Trabajo de Hoy’ into your notebook Complete the ‘Aprender y Practicar’ assignment at the beginning of each class

If you arrive late to class: Enter quietly as to not disturb class If you have an excuse note, place it on my desk on the way to your seat If you do not have an excuse note, please stay after class to discuss your situation with me

All work should be done in black or blue ink, or pencil. Please do not write in red pen, markers or Sharpies that may bleed through paper

Label all work with the following heading: Lindsay Jenkins 21 de Noviembre Período 5 Assignment Title

I expect all of you to participate in class and share your thoughts and ideas. I want to hear what you have to say. When you have a question or comment: Raise your hand and wait to be called on Please respect the other students in class and do not talk while they are speaking

The best way to learn a language is to speak it and practice EVERYDAY! You will be expected to speak SPANISH in class. If you have difficulty coming up with the right words, I will help you.

Before leaving class each day be sure to copy la tarea (homework) into your assignment book. All tarea should be done in pen or pencil with the proper heading You will turn your tarea in at the beginning of each class period unless otherwise specified

For each day an assignment is late I will automatically deduct 1 letter grade. Por Ejemplo: An assignment turned in 2 days late will be reduced to a C. This means that the HIGHEST grade you could possibly get is a C Assignments will not be accepted after 3 days from original due date.

I will dismiss you from class everyday, n not the bell. Before leaving class: Make sure your desk and the area around you is clean Turn in any work that was done during the class period Take all books/notebooks/homework assignments with you
