GREETINGS from SLOVAKIA!

Activities after the meeting in Spain 8 April 2011 We had a presentation on the meeting in Spain We watched the video of Barcelona and the play of our students The participating students talked about their experiences

Collecting the slang and teenage words There are 13 students working on this project We collected frequently used words and phrases We collected about 70 words Everybody has looked for common words used by young people

Tasks We talked about the tasks and discussed them We played the 2 specific games in the afternoon Comenius class We said words in alphabetical order and used slang and teenage words and phrases We also made roleplays using these words and phrases (for example, 2 friends or 2 strangers talking to each other)

Our experience We laughed a lot during these games The tasks with slang words were quite difficult The conversation in alphabetical order was not easy either Playing a game is different from real life Everyday speech is easier than making a roleplay because it is more natural

Using slang and teenage words

Thank you for your attention!!! Goodbye!
