Task 1: Planning for Instruction and Assessment

What Do I Need To Think About You will describe your plans for the Learning Segment You will explain how your instruction is appropriate for the students You will explain how your instruction is appropriate for the content you are teaching

What to think about What do your students KNOW? What can they do? What are they learning to do?

What to think about What do you want your students to learn? What are the important understandings and core concepts you want students to develop within the learning segment?

What to think about Instructional strategies Learning tasks Assessments To support student learning and language use

What to think about How is the teaching you propose informed by your Knowledge of Students?
