Materials needed A sunny day A tree A tape measure A meter stick

Step #1: design the experiment As a group we brainstormed on ideas as to how to measure the height of the tree without measuring the height of the tree

Step #2: taking measurements We went outside to take the measurement on the tree the team had picked. Taking about 15 minutes for the sun to poke out of the clouds we were able to get the measurements

Step #3: calculations After taking the measurements and returning back to class we started the calculations for the height of the tree. Later finishing the calculations at another time

Step #4: errors Errors we had were not having the best of sunny days do so Just starting working with each other Rushed measurements with not being on the same page as the others.
