Investigate the influence of geography on history 6. Use maps to detect uses of the environment 7. Identify the common characteristics and political boundaries of a community

1. Write a report on a famous pioneer or frontiersman. 2. Take an online tour of Ohio Village. 3. Identify state capitals. 4. Compare ways of mail delivery. 5. Take a field trip to the Ohio Canals.

People in Societies

The Learner will: 1. Identify various cultural groups that have settled in Ohio 2.. Examine the contributions of people of various cultural groups to Ohio's development 3. Show on a map where cultural groups have settled 4.. Examine how Ohio's government deals with the needs and demand of various cultural groups 5..
