Ready Steady CPD! This session is based on a popular TV series

Ready Steady CPD! Who tends to record their CPD starting at Action?

Ready Steady CPD! Who tends to record thier CPD starting at Reflection?

Case study – record CPD starting at…. Action Reflection

Ready Steady CPD!

STOP CPDing!

Will it be Green Peppers or Red Tomatoes? VOTE NOW!

Starting at Reflection  When you identify a gap in your knowledge, skills, and attributes.

Starting at Action  If you haven't thought about a gap in your learning and planned what you are going to learn, but have learnt something which will contribute to the quality or development of your practice.

Top tips  THERE IS NO ABSOLUTE RIGHT OR WRONG WAY TO RECORD THE CPD –Today’s cookery demonstration showed that the same CPD recipe can be recorded in different ways by different people – and both CPD entries and methods of recording are just as valid

Top tips  Go with your gut feeling! –Your gut feeling (in terms of which stage to start when recording your CPD) is usually right –or at least right for you!  If it doesn’t feel right you are probably starting in the wrong place! –e.g. you are struggling to answer the questions then you are probably starting in the wrong place – try again starting at another stage of the CPD cycle  Use the wizard if recording online
