Silver State Chapter Purpose of our Silver State Chapter: To promote and advance the improvement of records and information management and related fields through study, education, and research To advance professional knowledge and techniques by sharing and exchanging experiences and information related to the field To develop and advance standards of professional competence in the field of records and information management To obtain information about new software and hardware technologies available to information management and related fields
Silver State Year in Review 55 Chapter Members Chapter includes members from Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson, Mesquite, and Arizona Membership decreased by 10% due to members retiring and/or moving New Members representing Food, Utilities, Compliance, Convention and Visitors Authority and Gaming industries
Silver State Year in Review 2008 ARMA International Conference Planning Committee Silver State Chapter’s 30 th Birthday Party Chapter hosted 2007 Leadership Conference Financial Success – Chapter funds increased 80% New Silver State Chapter logo Great networking opportunities and building friendships within the Chapter
Meeting Variety Meetings held every other month resulting in increased attendance Average attendance 33 members = 60% Chapter attendance rate ARMA Kickoff Meeting included a visit from the Mayor of Las Vegas, Oscar Goodman with 66 attendees
