Overview Materials: 15 Insulation Hangers 8 Hex Standoffs 16 Screws 1 Orange ping-pong ball Shape: Square Spiral that decreases in altitude.

Stored Energy Potential Energy: 1.33 Joules Final Velocity: 1.04 m/s Kinetic Energy: 1.34 Joules Friction was neglected

Design/Construction Issues We welded insulation hangers together with short cross members to create a rail. Then we bent the ends into a curve. Next, we attached the hex standoffs to each curve to support the structure and allow adjustment of the height. One issue occurred when we were welding the hangers together. The heat caused one of the hangers to warp and resulted in one of the corners being too short.

Conclusions Conclusions This project changed our lives for the better!!! It will help revolutionize the roller coasters across America. Any questions?
