By joining Friends of OER, professionals will be able to: keep abreast of the latest news and obtain first- hand information on the development of OER, as well as on methods for the creation and adoption of OER, through regular s; access links and examples of OER and open textbooks on the website; participate in the discussion forum to share views and experiences with other educators about OER issues; and get information about local and international conferences, workshops and seminars on OER.
