Kinds of Text

Essential Questions What are the different kinds of text? How can knowing the kind of text help me to understand what I read?

Narrative Text Narrative text is text that is written to tell a story Narrative text includes fiction text, like stories Narrative text also includes some kinds of nonfiction, like biographies
