August 25, 2015 Please pick up a syllabus, a green worksheet, and a pink slip. Goal: Compare science and pseudoscience.

Step One: On your pink piece of paper, write “yes” if you believe your horoscope when you read it and “no” if you do not. Read the character descriptions on the blue sheet of paper. Find a number that best describes you and write it on the pink sheet. Write down your birth month and date. When you finish, fold the pink sheet in half.

Step 2: Mrs. Manson will collect the pink sheets and then pass them back to random students. Use the chart find the character number that corresponds to the sign associated with the traits. Write down the name of the sign next to the number. Find the sign of the individual. If the two are the same, write “HIT” on the bottom of the sheet. If they are different, write “MISS” on the bottom.

Step 3 Go to your green worksheet and answer the questions.
