Sex/race segregation in the workplace has obvious affects on wage differences, however it also has affects on job mobility. Sex/race segregation in the workplace has obvious affects on wage differences, however it also has affects on job mobility.

Only a handful of white women/people of color still reach the top of a work hierarchy. This is intriguing given the popular discourse today (Dr. Leonard Sax) which states that white boys are less motivated than other girls. His study also finds that girls do better in school and better on tests. SO why are white boys still more successful in paid work? Promotion and Authority Gap What is the difference between promotion and authority?
