Introduction: an new employee manual or staff handbook, is a book given to employees by AOI Institute. The employee handbook contains information about AOI Institute policies and procedures. The employee handbook is an excellent place to bring together employment and job- related information which employees need to know.

Salary Information about employee pay and benefits (such as vacation and insurance). New employees are awarded some benefits, plus additional rewards (such as enrollment retirement account program, additional vacation and pay raises)

Conditions of employment Condition of employment is an employee employment details which are a full- and part-time employment, and benefits each classification receives. In addition, this area also describes timekeeping procedures (such as defining a "work week"). This area may also include information about daily breaks (for lunch and rest).

As part of the selection and hiring process, all classified employees are considered probationary employees for their first 120 days of AOI Institute employment. This 120-day timeframe allows us to assess Whether probationary employees' skills, performance, and dependability fit their position and merit continuation of AOI Institute employment.

Steps to manage the performance of probationary employees  Review AOI Institute’s policy on probationary employment with the employee, or make sure the policy is reviewed in the orientation program  Provided probationary employee with the appropriate AOI job description and departmental job description and let employee know of any changes in job duties.

 Inform probationary employees of performance and conduct standards, including ◦ Reporting to work in a regular and timely manner ◦ Reporting sick leave use and other absences ◦ Dress codes/standards ◦ Appropriate conduct ◦ Conducting themselves in accordance with designated safety rules ◦ Departmental work rules
