What was the population of the world in B.C, 1750, 1850, 1950, 1985, and 2000? -In B.C, there were probably only 10 million people. -In 1750, the world population reached 625 million. -In 1850, the population reached the figure of 1300 million. -In 1950, the figure had more than doubled to reach 2510 million. -In 1985, there were 4760 million people. In 2000, the world’s population was about 6.6 billion.
