A territory ruled or administered by a distant nation, usually for the benefit of the ruling nation.

The government is restrained in what it can do by laws; in a country that has this, all citizens are treated the same and the law is applied equally to everyone. Countries without this are very corrupt and can throw people in jail for no reason.
Rule of Law
A type of economy in which the government determines what goods and services can be produced, sold, bought, and traded within the country.
Command Economy
An economy in which people have the choice to buy, sell, and trade what they wish.
Market Economy
An economic system in which people do not use money, they barter for goods and services.
