Founded by Julie og Rino Solberg i 1991 as a privat and idealistic organization called; ”Solbergs Children Help Organization”. We changed the name to ”Child Africa” and registered as a Non Profit organization in Norway in We are also registered as an NGO in Uganda and Kenya. We became an international organization with our own website in We therefore have 20 years experience in helping poor children in Uganda. With help from sponsors in 30 countries all over the world, we have helped hundreds of children with education and other support. Aisha Kagunda was the first of our children to get a university degree in 2002 at Makerere University Uganda, after she was helped by C.A. for over 10 years.

Our Vision: Is to see Child Africa as one of the leading African Organizations in providing quality care, education and development for under privileged children.

Child Africa will incorporate up to 20% deaf children into every school we build in Africa and to teach the other 80% of the student’s sign language, in order to get 100% communication between the deaf and the hearing children. Child Africa will teach HONESTY AND INTEGRITY as a formal subject in all our schools as a tool to fight poverty and corruption.. Our Mission:
