6 Working conditions… Most sound engineers work indoors in studios. Sometimes they have to work outdoors, away from the studio, in all kinds of weather. Sound engineers who set up and take down equipment may have to do heavy lifting. They often work more than 40 hours a week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
