The police don’t get there in time and the kidnappers get away.

The CIA assigns Agent Harris to the job. He’ll do whatever it takes to get Meg back.

All Aiden can do is wait hopelessly for a break in the case.

At school Aiden's friend Richie keeps bothering him about wanting to help. But Aiden just wants to be left alone.

Finally about a week later they find the van abandoned in an alleyway in Baltimore!

Agent Harris and his team couldn’t pick up a fingerprint or anything

The kidnappers were smart. Harris was stuck

All the Falconers could do was pray.

Then about a week later Mr. falconer got an anonymous !

We have your daughter. We’ll return her if your son Aiden brings 2 Million dollars to the phone booth on the corner of 16 th and 17 th street at 2:00 pm. We will give him further instructions there.

Aiden was thankful that Meg was okay but, was very nervous for what was about to go down.

But Aiden new that his family didn’t have 2 Million dollars. So agent Harris got the money from the CIA’s emergency funds.

The next day it was time for the exchange. Aiden's dad dropped him off at the phone booth with the money in a duffel bag.

Aiden picked up the phone…

A raspy voice says “go across the street to the trash can and open it”.

In the can was a beeper that read get on the 2:05 buss and get off where the kids get off.

He got on and about ten minutes later he got off at the circus parade with the kids.

He waited and waited but there were now further directions.

Than a clown walks up to him and offers him some candy

Aiden took a piece and then all of a sudden the clown snatched the duffel bag out of his hand!

Aiden was shocked and startled. Did he just come face to face with Megs kidnappers?

Aiden tried to run after her but lost her because there were 50 other clowns in the parade.

Than Aiden runs into his friend Richie! He says “Help me catch the lady with the duffel bag”!

The 2 of them sprint into the mix of clowns. Richie miraculously spots her and jumps on her back!

Richie grabbed onto the duffel bag and ran to get help. The clown breaks free and points a gun at Aiden!

With the police closing in and the chaos erupting the clown flees.

The mission was over. The ransom money and Meg were never exchanged.

The kidnappers still had custody of Meg. But where was she? Was she okay?

It remains a mystery?
