The Importance of Phonics 拼音的重要性

English is an alphabetic language in which letters represent sounds. In order to learn to read and spell, children must be aware of the constituent sounds, or phonemes.

Important research findings about Phonics: - To be able to decode words (read) - To be able to encode words (write) - To become better spellers - To become confident language learners

The Good News is that … Nearly 90% of English words can be spelled if you know basic patterns, principles, and rules of spelling.
