Inform the future direction for the spherical display system program Inform NOAA on future investments in the spherical display program Identify and discuss major issues and best practices for applying spherical display systems in informal science education settings Prioritize technical improvements for Science On a Sphere Investigate options for docent training and quality control Provide feedback on the evolution of the virtual library

Understand the impact spherical display systems have on learning earth system science in informal science education settings Prepare for implementation of plans for assessment and evaluation at the program level Share best practices for evaluation of exhibits featuring spherical display systems at the institutional level Determine baseline information on use of sphere, audience demographics, and indirect outcomes
