I was in the United States in November. I was there for 2 weeks. I lived with an American family and every day went to school. Every American school has a really big stadium and two more for different games.
The most amazing thing that happened during our trip was Halloween. It's the traditional holiday for children. They dress up and go trick-or-treating door-to-door. It’s the main event of the holiday. We had a lot of fun eating pumpkin pies and played lots games. We spent this day with my Russian and American friends. It was a great opportunity to master English.
Also we went to The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum. It is located in the historical downtown of Springfield. Abraham Lincoln was the 16th President of the United States. He led the country through a great constitutional, military and moral crises, the American Civil War and improved economic and financial modernization. Then we were in the plane museum. It was really interesting.
We spent the last days in Chicago. This is a beautiful city. There are a lot of skyscrapers and museums. We were on the 103 floor of the Willis Tower. Most of all I enjoyed the Museum of Science and Industry. You can see everything there starting from a train exposition to a submarine exposition. I really liked being in Chicago, I would like to come there again.
