METAMORPHOSIS DRAWINGS TAKE AN OBJECT OR THING AND GRADUALLY MORPH IT INTO A DIFFERENT OBJECT

Process Decide on beginning and ending object/thing. They should be very DIFFERENT. Practice drawing in sketchbook. Create 6 separate drawings that gradually morph one object into the other. The transitions/steps should be subtle. You will have 8 steps in total from start to finish. All drawings done in sketchbook first.

Remember.. Geometric shapes Abstraction... What’s this?? Negative space, contours and outlines Select 2 objects that are different in shape. This will make the transition steps interesting and dynamic. 8 steps in total

In sketch book/ copy paper Come up with 3 DIFFERENT ideas (3 pairs) Sketch out the steps for each

Final drawing is done in pencil and shaded with good range of value (light to dark
