John 14:1-6 1 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. 4 And where I go you know, and the way you know.” 5 Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?” 6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

1 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.

Jesus Is The Way The way to where? Jesus dedicated a new and living way by means of His death on the cross (Heb. 10:19-20). If Jesus is the way, then that rules out everyone and everything else from being the way. –N–Not Mohammed, Buddha, Hinduism, Judaism, the Pope (RCC), Baptist, Lutheran, Methodist, etc. Jesus is the only way of salvation (Acts 4:12). Are you “of the Way” (Acts 9:1-2; 19:9, 23)?

Jesus Is The Truth John 1:14, 17 Truth is absolute, and it belongs to Jesus. –I–It is not left up to each individual to determine what truth is, or what “truth” means to them. The Word of God is truth (John 17:17). The truth can be known, and will set men free from their sins (John 8:32; I Tim. 2:3-4; James 1:25; Eph. 1:13; 4:21). Everyone who is of the truth hears (obeys) the voice of Jesus (John 18:37; Luke 6:46).

Jesus Is The Life Jesus is the one and only source of spiritual life (John 1:4; 3:36; 6:33; 8:12; Acts 3:15). Jesus offers abundant life (John 10:10-11). The way to that life is narrow and difficult (Matt. 7:13-14). To receive that life there are certain things we must do (John 5:40; Mark 10:17). Jesus is the resurrection & the life (Jn. 11:25).

Ephesians 4:4-6 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
