definitionn. Testicular cancer is a disease in which cancer cells are discovered in one or both testicles. The testicles, also known as testes or gonads, are located in a pouch beneath the penis called the scrotum.

who can get it & how you can get it. It could have been ran in your family. You could get it if your 15 – 34. If you have small testicles or abnormally shaped ones. If the male child was born with an extra x chromosome.
the examination. you should exam during a shower or right after you get out. the water relaxes the skin and makes it much easier. check your testicles one at a time. use one or both hands. cup your scrotum with one hand to see if there is any change from the way it feels normally. place your index and middle fingers under one testicle with your thumb on top. gently roll the testicle between your thumb and fingers. feel for any lumps in or on the side of the testicle. repeat with the other testicle. feel along the epididymis (a soft, tube like, comma-shaped structure behind the testicle that collects and carries sperm) for swelling
signs && symptoms a hard, painless lump on the testicle (this is the most common sign) pain or a dull ache in the scrotum a scrotum that feels heavy or swollen bigger or more tender "breasts" a lump in either testicle (usually pea-sized, but may be as large as a marble or an egg) any enlargement or significant shrinking of a testicle a sensation of heaviness in the scrotum a dull ache in the groin or lower abdomen any sudden collection of fluid in the scrotum tenderness or enlargement of the breasts pain or discomfort in a testicle or in the scrotum
how to treat the cancer. If your doctor suspects or is sure that you have the cancer like so, after a couple of tests, they would most likely have you get it surgically removed. They may also say if your cancer had spread to other parts of your body like your other tissues, or you have a severe case of the cancer.
