Unit 12 Additional Evidence Jay

1.1 I can describe what types of information are needed. Business card This is my logo that represents m company Phone number to you could call the company. Same with the . Location of the company Blue to attracted the target audience Company name This is the main designer Business cards are important because they are pocket sized so convenient to carry around and hand out whenever the right opportunity presents itself. Businesses with business cards look more professional and so people take them more seriously.

1.1 I can describe what types of information are needed. Job title so people know what job I do and whether I’m the right person for them to contact Logo of company so they can recognise them. Phone to contact company Phoning is really fast. Company name to remember what the biasness its is called I've chosen blue as the main colour to appeal to my targets audience witch is young teens to young adults Letterheads are important because they prove that the letter sent has been sent from the company and not a fake company. It also makes it look more professional and will mean that people take you seriously.

1.1 I can describe what types of information are needed. Newsletter – A newsletter gives information about a specific company or hobby through a variety of articles and pictures. My newsletter includes lots of information about technology and new technology and gaming consoles that people might be interested in. It includes the company logo to secure the newsletter so now one can steel it and logos are easy to recognize so it will also mean my company will be recognised and taken seriously. If you were walking and look up at a build board and see the logo you would automatically know what it is. I also included other things in my newsletter like a paragraph about my business to give some extra advertising. I also included contact information and page numbers so the person reading the newsletter can see the pages with the articles they will be most interested in.

1.2 I can describe how to change page design and layout to increase effectiveness of a publication. I have chosen my newsletter to have the same design on each one to match and make it look profession. I had over 15 templates to chose from and I chose the one I thought would look the best in my newsletter each one had a different layout and the one I chose I thought would look the best for a game newsletter. I have chosen the color blue as the target audience is boys or teenagers. If there was a pink color in the logo then people might think its not a real company and its fake.

2.3 Describe how copyright constraints affect use of own and others’ information. Copyright is a piece of legislation that prevents people from using other people’s work and saying it is their own. If they chose to use their work and say its theirs when it isn’t then they can get fined. In my newsletter the articles I got were from other websites. If I had not referenced these in my work (research document) then I could have been breaking copyright law. I included each site so this enabled me to meet copyright law. I also got my logo from vista print so included this in my source and store table.

2.4 I can describe which file format to use for saving designs and images..PUB – Mean publisher witch is a bit of software wit lots of templates you can use to destine things for your biasness so they look pofetinol these things can include biasness cards and neglecters. You have to have publisher software to use them.PDF - Preserves document formatting and enables file sharing because you don’t need the software you created you work on in order to see it I will save my work on publisher on PDF so other people can open it.JPEG/.JPG – The term actually stands for "joint photographic experts group.PNG – Portable Network Graphics (PNG) is a raster graphics file format that supports lossless data compression. PNG was created as an improved, non-patented replacement for Graphics Interchange Format (GIF), and is the most used lossless image compression format on the Internet.PSD – Photoshop document is a file generated by Adobe Photoshop. You’ve seen images that have a surreal quality/.TIFF - It’s a graphics file format created in the 1980s to be the standard image format across multiple computer problems

Publisher is a type of software we can create a leaflet and a I've used publisher to make these using a template. If someone creates something sing publisher and sends it to someone else who docent have the software they wont be able to open it this can be avoided if they save the publisher file as a PDF. PDF files mean that you don’t need a specific bit of software to open the file can be useful because the person can 100% see the thing ive sent them and every ne is happy. If an image file is created using Photoshop and someone doesn't have Photoshop then they can save the file as a range of image types these images types are PNG, JPEG and TIFF there are a few key differences between these types of images these are if you wanted to print you might want to use a better quality picture. In my work I saved my logo as PNG file because the background is transparent and good quality meaning it can be pasted onto anything. 2.4 I can describe which file format to use for saving designs and images.
