My Mood board

The Target Audience My mood board shows that my target audience is for 4-5 year olds. I have included the PEGI rating in this to show that the game is suitable for all ages however I have used the cartoon children on my mood board to show that my game is for both genders and early primary school children.

The Game Genre The genre of my game is an English educational game for early primary school children (aged 4-5) to learn simple spellings and simple sentences.

How The Game Will Look My mood board shows that my game will included spellings and simple sentences. It also shows how the letters will be muddled up and the player has to un-muddle the word and put each letter on a section of the caterpillar.

The Colour Scheme The colour scheme of my game will be bright colours as it is an educational game I want to make it eye catching and appealing to the target audience. As my target audience is younger children I wanted to make my game interesting and suited to them.

How The Characters Will Look The only character in involved in my game is the main caterpillar, of which the player spells the word on the body of the caterpillar.

Icon/ Buttons I have include these icons and buttons to show that my game is a computer game and the PEGI rating is to display that my game is age appropriate.

Fonts and Styles I have chosen these fonts because they are all bright and bold however they are still easy for a 4 year old to read. I have chosen the bright coloured text as the bold colours appeal to the younger audience.

Music/ Sound Effect I have added music notes to my mood board because in my game there will be a cheer sound effect when the player wins the game.
